Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our bead weaving courses and patterns.
How much experience do I need to start?+
None. Our beginner track introduces loom setup, warping, and tension with paced drills and a simple bracelet to finish in your first week.
What materials do you recommend?+
We use size 11/0 cylindrical beads, nylon thread, a medium beading needle, and a stable tabletop loom. Each course includes a printable checklist and substitutions.
Are materials included with the course?+
Some courses include materials. The catalog clearly marks “Materials included” when a kit is shipped. Otherwise, we provide sourcing links and color suggestions.
How long do I have access?+
You receive ongoing access to all lessons for the course you purchase. Updates and new tips appear automatically in your library.
Do you offer refunds?+
Yes. If the course truly isn’t a fit, contact us within 14 days of purchase. We’ll review your progress and help with a refund or exchange.
What if my edges curve or my tension slips?+
We teach micro-adjustments for posture and warp density and provide troubleshooting videos. Send photos of your work for custom advice.
Is there closed captioning and accessibility support?+
All videos include captions and transcripts. We also provide left/right-hand variations where relevant and screen-reader-friendly diagrams.
Can I adapt patterns to different bead sizes?+
Yes. We provide scaling formulas and examples for common sizes so your pattern keeps its proportions across beads.
Do you teach peyote stitch and off-loom work?+
Absolutely. Our intermediate and advanced tracks cover flat and tubular peyote, edge joins, bezels, and sculptural elements.
